My AmeriCorps is a one-stop shop online resource for current AmeriCorps members and alumni. You can use My AmeriCorps to:

Update your contact information

Have your student loans deferred during your term of service (Forbearance Request)

Request payment of the interest that accrued on your student loans during your term of service (Interest Accrual Benefit Request)

Request payment of qualified student loans (Education Award Payment Request)

Request payment of current Educational Expenses (Education Award Payment Request)

Extend the date of expiration of your Segal AmeriCorps Education Award (Award Extension Request)

View the status of your pending requests

How to Create a My AmeriCorps Account

1) Visit https://my.americorps.gov

2) Register by creating a username and password. You will need to enter your date of birth and social security number. If you have problems registering, contact:

Troubleshooting Tip: Your social security number must match the social security number in your AmeriCorps enrollment form. If your social security number was entered incorrectly in the system, you will not be able to register.

You should contact My AmeriCorps Support to verify that this is the problem. To correct your social security number in the system, you will need to send to CNVS AEAP an enlarged copy of your social security card, either via fax 301-270-0901 or email kwolford@cnvs.org along with your request and we will make the change in the system.
