Energetic, enthusiastic, flexible volunteer needed to become a part of a diverse community in inner-city Worcester. Volunteers run an after-school mentoring program for local elementary age kids, run and teach in an ESL program for recently arrived immigrants, run a program for at-risk teen girls from a nearby housing project, and also are able to get involved in a variety of local non-profits, including St. Vincent de Paul, Columbus Park Elementary School, The Family Health Center, and Assumption Center's Spiritual Books Program. Volunteers live a simple lifestyle in community and become very integarted into the life of St. Peter's Parish, a dynamic multi-cultural inner-city Catholic Parish.
